ULA kündigte für den 23.Mai 2013 den Start des mil. Kommunikationssatelliten WGS-5 mittels einer Delta-4M+(5,4) von der cape canaveral AFB in Kalifornien an. Das Startfenster liegt zwischen 02:26 - 02:58MESZ.

Der Satellit hat eine X-Band, Globale Broadcast und 2-Wege Ka-Band Nutzlast und soll Kommunikation für das US Militär bereitstellen.

Der Start soll am frühen Morgen des 24.05. stattfinden.

Der Start wird auf Grund eines technischen Defekts an einem Heliumsystem auf Samstag morgen verschoben.
